I'm not so great at designing clothes...>.< but yeah i need to practice. ( I fail at shoes )
Some pose tips?
It can be difficult to make a pose dynamic or interesting. Best to experiment with angles and trying to make the character look natural.
For a pose there are a few important things to remember.
Center of gravity, if you want you character to look balanced its important to create a center of gravity and construct your pose according to this. ( i might make a tip sheet on this )
What are they doing? Have a good idea of what you want your character to do before you draw it. Just jumping in and drawing off the top of your head can have interesting results but often results in a stiff lifeless pose.
Construction. Construct the entire pose first, then add the details in after. This will generally give the pose more life and movement or create a more natural appearance.
Clothes are easier to apply when you draw the full human form first then add the clothes over top.
feel free to use the poses or the clothes, but please don't trace, since i want to encourage people to try drawing their own poses or interpretations >.<
