More anime eyes and tips by moni158 More anime eyes and tips by moni158
I've done an eye tip sheet already but there's still a few more things i need to cover.

Making to eyes look like they match or are inline on the face is one of the most difficult things to draw besides hands. The only way to do this is to practice and become consistent but i have a few tips to that will hopefully help.

I always draw both eyes at the same time. ( as seen in the above pictures) this helps with consistency and gets the sizes similar. They eye further away is has less width and looks more compressed than the closer eye. Also remember at that angle you can sometimes see the curve of the eye and/or the eyelashes.

Best way to tell if you eyes are in proportion is to flip the image, you will be able to tell right away what is out of place if you do this. If your drawing on paper, turn the page around and hold it up to a light, this creates the same effect as flipping the image. This can also be used to tell what else in the picture is/or inst in proportion.

I love how Bleach and Naruto-esque your eyes are. They are absolutely beautiful and I love them.

It's like the tutorials you get out of a "How to Draw Anime" book or something.

What program do you use, and how do you get those defined lines? every time i attempt to draw with a tablet, on any software i get bold thick lines.

Is your tablet working? have you enabled pen pressure?

If its not enabled or not working you'll only get lines with no difference in weight or thickness. Make sure your drivers are installed correctly etc.

Yes, everything is installed correctly. In the Tablet config, most probably have this, it's a pressure test and it works perfectly fine on the test.

Hmmmm thats rather odd... you may have to do some tweaking in your control panel thingy. Make sure flicks are enabled and make sure the pen pressure is enabled in-program.

Thank you so much! I've been drawing a pic for a long time. I got stuck here because I just could find the right pair of eye to draw. This has been a really great help! :D
