I love the way there's short of calmness in the water, the blood just seems to fade this mixed with the shock of what is going on, seems to blend nicely. the technique is the main impact of the picture, for example you wouldn't feel the same if the water didn't fade to white, of if the blood wasn't sinking into the water. The reflection in the water was a very nice touch. you did an amazing job,of getting the message across while still giving the viewer a chance to see this picture their own way, in conclusion simply great job.
In the beginning when I first saw this picture I was shocked by how swiftly my eyes were drawn to Itachi's eyes. They have an expression in them, I was amazed... In the years I've been looking at art and admiring work, very, very few artists have ever wowed me with eyes that actually express/convey an emotion.
This picture is extremely well done, very realistic, but I was actually afraid for a split second when I looked at Itachi's eyes. They are, in fact, frightening. It reminds me of something... dead... Like a hallowed out shell of a human being without anything left to live for. I am extremely glad I stumbled across this drawing, it's fantastically done. The technique, originality are unequivacably unmatched to anything I've seen of Itachi before.
I was actually forced to feel an emotion towards this picture, albeit a fearful one, though I do see other things swimming around in Itachi's gaze, among them seems to be an empty sadness. It's wonderful, keep up the great work.
love the way you displaced the blood in the water. looks very organic. Q: is this prior to Sasuke meeting his brother, b/c the metal doesn't have the line through the leaf symbol?
