In the beginning when I first saw this picture I was shocked by how swiftly my eyes were drawn to Itachi's eyes. They have an expression in them, I was amazed... In the years I've been looking at art and admiring work, very, very few artists have ever wowed me with eyes that actually express/convey an emotion.
This picture is extremely well done, very realistic, but I was actually afraid for a split second when I looked at Itachi's eyes. They are, in fact, frightening. It reminds me of something... dead... Like a hallowed out shell of a human being without anything left to live for. I am extremely glad I stumbled across this drawing, it's fantastically done. The technique, originality are unequivacably unmatched to anything I've seen of Itachi before.
I was actually forced to feel an emotion towards this picture, albeit a fearful one, though I do see other things swimming around in Itachi's gaze, among them seems to be an empty sadness. It's wonderful, keep up the great work.
I love the way there's short of calmness in the water, the blood just seems to fade this mixed with the shock of what is going on, seems to blend nicely. the technique is the main impact of the picture, for example you wouldn't feel the same if the water didn't fade to white, of if the blood wasn't sinking into the water. The reflection in the water was a very nice touch. you did an amazing job,of getting the message across while still giving the viewer a chance to see this picture their own way, in conclusion simply great job.
This piece is truly marvelous... The only thing I want to point out is, the reflection on the vest. You should make it reflect the water in front of him and not the back, which makes him seem transparent.
This looks positively PHENOMENAL!!!! I love the angle of the head you used for him, I think it makes his dark and menacing eyes THAT more evil. The reflective water was very-well created and the blood spreading into the water as well. If I could rate this (and give a real critique, but I'm not a premium member, sorry ) I'd give it five stars
I know a lot of people say that he looks perfectly evil in this art, but I think I disagree. O.O
I think the blood-tears, and the fact that he is submerging himself in water give him a very guilty, grieving appearance. ..It's seems as if he is attempting to cleanse himself of his own wrong-doings, (Which are made very outwardly apparent, being that he is covered in blood), in this body of water.
Overall, I find it beautiful, no matter how it is interpreted. I can't think of a single thing to critique, but I do want to compliment on the detail of the ripples reflecting on the front of his vest. That added a really cool look that others might have not thought to add.
I just caught up on Naruto episodes so I am now allowing myself to peruse various fan arts and I have always loved your Bleach stuff. This--- this is extraordinary. Totally ing this. It shows such great pain- you did this very well.
Hi! How are you? Happy to find you, your works are awesome!
I just wanted to ask you if I'm allowed to use this moving picture in a small video that I'm making. It's my first time I try something like this and oh-so-amateurish, so I wanted to ask your permission first; not to see it somewhere out of the blue and not be informed first. I can even send you the link when it's finished, to tell me your opinion, because you're also more expert.
Sorry for the bother and thanks in advance for everything.
The water, the blood, all of it is really well done, but I'm bothered by the eyes. My favourite part would have to be the contrast between the clear water and the shadows and blood around him and his heart.
