Your art is SOOO amazing! i love how you do water, and people too Do you use photoshop? I just got it, and I was wondering if there was a way to define your lines so that they're not all squiggly. Is there a specific command you use?
You're welcome. I NEED ME SOME KORRA! I can't stop talking about the show, looking at fanart, drawing them, thinking about it, or freaking out about it! Every day I keep yelling at the TV, "KORRA! COME BACK! PLEASE COME BACK! I MISS YOU SOOOOO MUCH!" D:
Look at those lines and colors so vibrant smooth and so appealing.
i really like the rough lines you give when you drew korra, that stance and that look on her face really give out that "Yea, i know how to waterbend 'suck it!'"
well maybe she wouldn't say it like that but still. anyway i really like the nice squiggly lines you did with the water, it gave it that nice flow to it. along with short and long lines to give it that inconsistent feel that water has. i really enjoy how wild it looks when rising from the sea too. the form it's taking, personally it looks like a tiger... maybe a lion is better? even though your title says water dragon i still see a lion face personally, maybe it's the lighting, that or i have no idea what the hell i am even talking about.
oh your rough coloring shading and lines work so well it magically looks smooth all on it's own. im having trouble with how you even do it!how do you even do it anyway? i know you have tutorials and everything about your style but still. no seriously, how do you even make them so smooth like that? i know you have paint tool sai and you probably set the smoothing to something maybe medium, 10/12? and how can you make lines without the vector tool anyway, i can't even make a good line on the ordinary layer without me messing up somehow, i mean yea it's smooth and everything but still. i guess im just not meant to make lines on the ordinary layers like other artists. my lines will only be stale ordinary lines, no life of any kind. still even if i asked you the smoothing number you probably use some other tool other than the pen tool... maybe the inkpen tool....? nah! :icononionXD:
i don't know if it's just me or anything but for some reason the water looks a little blurry. maybe it's the lighting in the deviation but it looks like it's a bit blurred out to me. still the shines and lighting to the water really do give it that extra, 'Umph' to it. i don't think you would even get that personally
i don't think i pointed this out enough but i really liked how you did the waterbending. the crazy lines, even though they're crazy and all over the place they look so smooth somehow like water listen to me, repeating the same thing again, how silly. im probably boring you with this insanely long comment and all my other miniature comments coming along with this
anyway i just wanted to say all that because i really like how you made this one if you even made it this far im sorry for making you go through this long read, i just had a lot to say for this one piece, well go do whatever you great artists do these days... probably read a lot of tumblr posts or something... that's what a lot of you guys seem to be doing now a days... you probably don't even do that.
