The eye lid has thickness, this means that the eyelashes donít start directly on the eye, a common mistake.
The eyelids are molded over the globe of the eye, and will follow it as it moves.
They eye lashes point outwards and down slightly then curve upward, they donít point directly up.
There is often a shine where the eye lid meets the eyeball.
If you want to make a monster eye, best to reference, or get inspiration from nature, reptile, fish or squid eyes usually do the trick.
Make sure to practice drawing eyes consistently since they can define a character.
