drawing technique???Hei everyone,
Hope you are doing fine.
I want to give just a quick reply to the many people who wrote me messages asking about my drawing media and how to use it etc.
Well, the essence of asking about tricks or techniques might be asking for shortcuts.
Of course, there are a lot of tutorials 'how to draw' in the internet, and it is the easiest way just asking someone to teach.
But I choose the tough way always.
I want my artworks to be free, learned by own experience.
So if someone really want to draw like I do, they need to try to run their head against a wall and be more stubborn first.
Skill and technique is overrated anyway :>

Sins of an ArtistI've been under fire recently for having the audacity to admit publicly that improving my art has never been, and never was, an ultimate goal of mine. Apparently that's like committing some sort of mortal sin in the art community. I've had trouble expressing myself about it too, because brushing off improvement for improvement sake makes me look like I'm uncaring, egocentric, and stubborn. But after a recent post I was given much more clarity in understanding the issue and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
In the recent exchange I was basically told this: "If doing what you love isn't about dedicating your life to improving your art, you aren't an artist."
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but making art has never been solely about the technical expertise. Even in college, outside the handful of foundation courses you take in freshman year, perfection of the craft is often secondary to concepts and ideas and your ability to evoke feelings and emotions in your audience.

What do you think?I am thinking about making a little build a character comic/book type thingy. Its basically like my tip sheet but it will be in comic/book format. I have already split it into four categories, facial features, hair styles, clothes and body types. Basically its a little reference guide, where you can mix and match features to create your own characters, nothing too heavy or technical. I will also be posting the pages online for free since I don't like the idea of any of my tip sheet/references not being accessible.
What do you think?
I also want to get into graphic design/pictorial design so designing stuff like this is always good practice too! ^u^ and great for portfolios!

Usually we have a lot of snow in Germany but this year it's just too damn hot and actually I walked around in a T-shirt today...what a crazy climate!

Gorgeous doll photosSome of these are old, apologies for that. But if something hits me, it hits me. I looked for photos that had mood, movement, concept and/or impact. I have to say that I'm not a fan of two or more photos together in the same image, but I couldn't avoid all of them (the first photo of all multi-images were the ones that caught my attention).
This took me a while. As I've said, I don't follow other doll photographers/owners that much, so I spent a lot of time doing searches for photos I've seen sometime but didn't remember whose they were. And another good chunk of time just browsing through bjd photos and people's galleries. A lot of good ones are still missing, but not all of them are in DA and some have already been removed. It's been a while since I was active in this hobby outside of my own stuff.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

Batman ain't gonna save youSo, almost at the anniversary of the Utoya clean-up, there was a mass shooting in Colorado, USA, at the premier of the "Dark Knight Rises" Batfuck movie by a neuroscience drop-out James Holmes.

I have to say about this 2-3 things, primarily.
First thing – finally someone used a fucking bulletproof vest and ballistic armor for this sort of an activity. The thing that always sort of baffled me, is why no-one uses any self-protection. A bulletproof vest, ballistiic helmet, collar and crotch protection, anti-shock kneepads and self-made composite body plating made from something like Protech steel-n-fiberglass plates isn't THAT expensive. A police-grade tactical vest in the US and Russia, either anti-smallarms or anti-rifle, costs roughly between $1,500-$3000, and the plating isn't that expensive too.

I've been stalking the site and finally today i saw it's opened. Its soooo coool guys,im so happy! Its full of stuff to do and very interesting info.It totally made my day!

A stock account that is!

I will be posting resources there. Free stock images, I will try making some screentones, colour pallets and photoshop/sai brushes too! All images, tones and brushes will be free for use without crediting etc. ^{( because its just so tedious OTL)} New Zealand has some breathtakingly beautiful skies and sceneries so I will be doing a ton of those too
