My artwork and sharing it?

Over time I have slowly changed my views about my artwork and how I protect it. If anyone has been watching me for the past year or so they would have seen my ranting journals about people using my art without my permission. I know people can get up in arms when their stuff is used off site whether its for commercial purposes or none-commercial purposes. I just want to say I no longer mind if my artwork is shared, edited and uploaded offsite. As long as no one uses it for commercial gain or claims they made it themselves I don't mind at all. I am not even asking for credit ( though I would appreciate it). I am just happy in the knowledge people think it is worth sharing =) if people enjoy it then that is more than good enough for me.

I am also giving permission for anyone to copy, trace, reference my art and upload it here if they want, just don't save my own picture and re-upload it, there is little point having duplicates on DA. If you are going to put a traced/copied/referenced image of mine on DA, in this case a credit would be nice. My tutorial/ drawing practice sheets are also/ and have always been free to share without crediting me because I made them as practice and to share what I knew with others.

I am just saying this because I get a few notes every now and then from concerned deviants asking me if I have allowed my stuff to be uploaded offsite. I really appreciate people looking out for me and my artwork =) so a big thankyou to all those who are keeping an eye out for artists.

All I ask is if you see my stuff being used commercially, just send me a note and I will sort it out.

(edit* this doesn't apply for commission works since they belong to other people, if you want to use a work that has been commissioned, just ask the commissioner first =) )
