It seems common through a lot of articles about issues like this. Scary, though, is the fact that we've heard that all before. It's a shame that so many people sill sit back and say "It won't happen because it's not right" and truly believe it. That is exactly how bodies in power bring unpopular bills into effect: they either bundle them into bills that people do want, or they just wait out the storm. Each day that passes, more and more people assume this topic is dead, more people fall into a false sense of security, and less people pay attention to the issues at hand concerning this. Eventually, as new topics dominate the news, this will be brought back to the surface and may even be passed with very few watchdogs even noticing.
