Shit is going down.....
As people probably know by now, there is an influx of deviations being removed by staff. They are either tightening their standards or there is someone going around reporting them ( mainly Naruto based works) I have seen a bunch of the pics that were deleted and I have to say a few of them did not violate DA TOS ( but most of them did and needed to be removed )...Maybe DA hired a new admin

I am guessing lots of people forgot the 'no aging up characters' rule. Merely stating a character is 18+ isn't enough on DA. The character will remain the age they were when they were first introduced. Honestly I hated this rule in the beginning BUT I understand why the admins did it. Its because there is a lot of stylistic variation and it is difficult to determine whether the artist actually tried to 'age up' the character.
Nothing of mine has been removed since I tend to like older characters

I am pretty neutral on the whole thing though I find it weird that the admins are doing there jobs all of a sudden... I am not just whining aimlessly, I really like and respect this site but a while ago I reported a shit load of stuff and most of it got ignored, (under-age-erotica, explicit-pornography, Copyright infringing stuff) Why my reports the exception DA? WHY?
But I forgive you....

This is a free website. It has always stated no underage minors etc so everyone has no right to complain. I understand that it sucks to have your stuff removed (And I strongly think the admins should of at least sent a warning before deleting it) but it said it in the rules. If you don't like it they can go to other art sites and do as you please. :] There's always SheezyArt for those who don't like how DA is right now.

... That's just making me sound creepy, isn't it?
So , if there's a child or baby character in a manga / whatever it may be . And you draw them as a regular 20 year old adult , they get deleted ? Even if it doesn't have nudity or any of that ?
Images of sexualized underage characters (minors) is still considered child pornography regardless if it's real or otherwise.
Because, after all, it doesn't stop being pornographic simply because the characters in question are children. dA feels that it's important to enforce this and makes it clear that simply stating a character is 18+ whilst the character itself is depicted as a minor in the original works just will not fly.
Any image/written work of a sexualized minor(s) is sick, in my opinion, and the people who make these are sick as well.
But somewhere in da, there is a really old version of Naruto, naked. Aint that disturbing.
