My darlings! I am sure you are not all internet hermits like me...so may I ask a favour? can you recommend any good books for me to read? I have only read a handful in my life....sadly.

I love supernatural/none supernatural horror, or medieval historical/ medieval fantasy or demony-middle earth type books. Also quite keen on zombie apocalypse/ pandemic survival style too. If you know any that fit into these categories I would be grateful if you could share?

If you know a really really good book that doesn't fit into any of these? I would still be interested in having a look at it.

I am sad..I read a book on my Japan trip and I can't remember the name :iconcryforeverplz:. Its about a boy who could shape shift and use magic, I think his name was Tern and there was a story in the book about him rescuing a girl enslaved by a wizard who was obsessed with quicksilver? if you know the name of this book I will love you forever and ever. The book pretty much covers his life from birth to death.

Edit* oh god I found out what book it was! it was Tales of Earthsea...damn I loved that book...I confused the guys name? it was Otter not Tern :iconotlplz:

Books/short stories I really ended up enjoying...

The Langoliers - Steven King
The Man in the Black Suit - Steven King
Autopsy Room Four - Steven King
Slaughterboy - Odo Kirsch
Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden
Tales of Earthsea - Ursula Le Guin
The Garbage King - someone?
1984 - George Orwell

Books on my to read list so far;
Pillars of the Earth
The Hunger Games
The Road
The Stand
Everthing ever written by Steven King ( specially IT...gotta read that one...='D)
