Your first drawings

Journal Entry: Thu Sep 15, 2011, 1:49 PM

I discovered a box in my room today....containing some of my oldest pictures.... OH GOD THE HORROR! I now know for a fact that those people who complimented them were just trying to be nice..... OTL

I found a bunch from 2010-2006 and some that are probably from even earlier... so many good and bad memories.

My art has changed a lot, it use to be rather grotesque... monsters, demons and some really really bizarre crap like my fat lady falling series and the *Don't play with acid* science class mascot.

I remember all my English class comics I drew with :iconella-b:, one involving a ninja killing an intruder with a slice of lemon used like a deadly shuriken :'D Oh and that is where I also made up Failed Samurai, Anonymous Guy... and the strategically placed censoring animals.

I also remember my Japanese teacher finding me drawing a picture that I hadn't finished, it was a muscular guy with horns and I hadn't gotten down to drawing his waist and pants and next thing I hear is "****** why are you drawing naked devil's in class".....:iconshockplz:

So anyway do you guys wanna see my first drawings ^^; ? and do you remember your first drawings? its always nice to compare the old and the new XD

Here you go.... ....I warned you! :iconscaredplz:

lol I remember from back then in my first year of high school when I was along in the art class, classroom and was drawing as some of my classmate saw me drawing a guy that was only half naked at the art classroom and she freaked out calling me a pervert... I mean seriously, the guy that I drawing wasn't even that completely naked, then the next day I heard rumors about someone spreading it, then after school my art teacher called me and asked me to show it to her and when she saw it, she said that drawing a half naked person isn't allowed in her class..

I was giving my art teacher an eyebrown and glanced at her desk and saw a sketch book full of nudity... And I was like: 'Then what do you call that one?' to my art teacher and she was like blushing madly and the next thing I know she quite being our art teacher the next day just because I saw that?.. *shook head*

i have a HUGE box of drawings from my past in the attic. I had so many ideas back then... -___- it saddens me that my talent gets better but my ideas get fewer... but i love going back and sifting through them. I have stuff as far back as 6th grade, which includes a 200 page comic i did with a friend. It's inspiring. If only we cold take our child imaginations and energy and combined them with our adult skills and styles.

Na. It's really not that bad. The details on them said it. x"D

Truthfully, if people didn't do what they did, you'd never reach this far. It's all in the support you get, you know. Not everyone is brave and blind enough to take such risks.

you were good! You should see my first drawings, they were horrible!
ah..My sweet days at elementary school. I started drawing in 4th grade. I used to have a burping kid series, and everything the gas touched died...specially rabbits. dunno why. And there was also the false Timeline in the history books, with events like "Zeus' first trip to Hawaii" and "Plastic bags were created to asphyxiate kids".

There was also the legendary: "Sir, if you don't sell it, I'll steal it" phrase.

I started to get a little better in high school, still those monsters are better than what I'll ever be able to draw.

I have an entire folder in my gallery for old art (although I only put the pictures I like in it). No one really looks at it but I didn't put it there because anyone asked me to: I just wanted to.

Ahhaha, I recall my first drawings being those of Dinosaurs, velociraptors from Jurassic Park, and fanarts of Ren & Stimpy. This eventually evolved into drawing Mega Man characters somehow, and my humanoids grew from there. XD
