With traditional tools: markers, gel pens, colored pancils, that sort of thing.

Cell shade where you can see where shadows end, so really sharp like cartoons.
Soft shade I think more realistic and softer, like most digital drawings here are colored.

I like digital painting the most. It just seems a lot more natural and more fun for me than cell-shading.

Mechanical pencil, pen, Primsacolour pencials, and some copic. Still getting the hang of copic.

Bahaha, I love to leave my drawings in pencil though. I think it looks better that way... :iconsulkplz:

Well, I'm a bit in between cell shading and soft shading. But I picked cell shading, because for me it's easier than soft shading and I use this method more often.

I haven't really found out with what I "like" to color. I tried colored pencils, copic markers and digitally (both kinda cell shading and soft shading, not really painting afair) and I'm not good in any of them yet. But everything is pwetty when done well

Hmm,
I use to do cell shading a lot, but when I realized that flat colors and that style of shading didn't fit well with my sketches I changed to airbrush and more softer look >u>

But cell shading is fun and quick~
