Manual for both Car and Bike ... My parents made me learn manual then I could drive anything, also made things better when I bought my car cos manuals are cheaper than autos...

Automatic is convenient, but MAN do I love my little stick-shift Saturn. It's getting old now, but I love it to death. Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-Vrrrrrrrrrrrr-VRRRRRRRRRRRRR down the on-ramp.... ...... (it's late at night. my only excuse for such a peculiar comment)

If you drive manual, you can drive both xD

i love manual. can drive both but don't really like automatic. can do so much more with manual, and its more fun

My first attempt at learning to drive were in automatics but my b/f drives a manual so i had to learn to drive that(and be pregnant at that). My family/friends and I never thought i'd learn to drive muchless be shifting gears. It's FUN!!! Sometimes i feel the NEED for SPEED, but I'm scared of bein pulled over or loosing control( i drive 99% of the time with my daughter). Beside's, i dont think i'm 100% perfect at it.

I tried driving an automatic after learning manual....yeaah that sucked! I kept pushing the "clutch" pedal but was really pushing the break. There were alot of angry drivers that day.

I've been reading that other countries have 2 diff drivers license? That's smart. I think there are ppl in the States that shouldnt be driving manual.

the first time i drove a standard i backed out of my driveway did a full turn and almost took out the front fence. this was mostly due to the fact that my mom was screaming grabing the wheel, (before i started to back up) and yelling at me "not to touch the brakes" it's a good thing i took my foot off the gas and pulled the emergency brack instead. after she said "i may have over reacted"
that is why i drive standard and never with my mom in the car.
