That happened to me a while back on gaiaonline, i tried logging in and it said that i was permanantly banned. i was freaking out. later it turned out that i was hacked and the admins helped me get it back from being banned. Now i can go on it again.^^

that happened to me.... but it was cause one of my friends (and i still dont know who) reported me for no reason and i'm still banned... but i just made another account. ^^
